Pushkar is a place known for it's peace and tranquilty
If you are looking for a break from daily humdrum of life then
come to Pushkar.
I spent my childhood in Ajmer, which is hardly 10 Kms from Pushkar.
When i was a child i loved going to Pushkar because of the greenery
and the amazing market that offered unique keychains and handicraft
shops.
Shopping in Pushkar
Pushkar is famous for its market which is around 2 kms long. The
best way to see it is by walking.
A long stroll won't take much time, especially when you will notice
unique and strange shops around.
If you don't want to walk, you can hire a cycle rikshaw. Or even
4 wheeler thela. The shops are full of unique handicrafts and artifacts.
The price is usually affordable and quality is good.
Activities in Pushkar
If you have come to Pushkar plan to visit as many temples
as you can!
Pushkar is one place with different types of temples which are unique
in both their form, belief and architecture.
You can take a dip in holy lake pushkar and perform a pooja (prayer)
through a local pundit.
Temples in Pushkar
There are more than 1,000 small and big temples in Pushkar.
All of them have something unique in them. Yes, you would not want
to see all of them but there are at least 10 MUST SEE temples.
